Denison scored a pair of first-half goals and went on to defeat Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday in Granville.

The Big Red took the lead in the ninth minute when Katie McMahon took a feed from Catie Merrick and slipped a shot through the pads of sophomore goalkeeper Emily Temple (Dublin/Scioto).

Denison extended its lead to 2-0 late in the first half as Merrick chipped the ball over Temple's stick from in front of the Bishop cage.

Denison outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 9-4. Temple finished with 2 saves, while Brittany Benson had 3 saves in the Big Red cage.
