The Fighting Scots won the match by scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-13.

Wooster used an 8-2 run to pull away in the first set, collecting a pair of kills from Erica Skillman and additional kills from Paige Parker and Melissa Morgan to turn a 12-10 lead into a 20-12 advantage.  The Bishops rallied to within 23-16 as senior setter Brittany Vickers (Newark/Utica) and Fain recorded kills, but Wooster responded with a kill by Zoe Zwegat and a service ace by Maggie Johnson to close out the set.

The Scots led, 10-9, after a Parker kill in the second set when Ohio Wesleyan scored the next 4 points to take the lead for good.  Londot blasted a kill to even the game, Fain followed with back-to-back kills, and Day added another for a 13-10 Bishop lead.  Wooster closed to within 17-16 on a block by Skillman and Zwegat, but the Bishops bounced back with a 5-2 burst that included kills from Londot and senior middle hitter Ashley Haynes (Norton).  The Bishops still led, 23-19, after another Haynes kill when Wooster rallied to within 23-22 on kills by Autumn Berry and Devin Grandi, but Ohio Wesleyan got the ball back after Morgan's attack error, and senior outside hitter Heather Kuch (Aurora) ended the set with a service ace to knot the match.

Parker and Morgan highlighted a 4-0 run that gave Wooster a 12-7 lead in the third set.  Ohio Wesleyan fought back to within 17-14 on a Londot kill, but Wooster went on another 4-0 tear that started and finished with Parker kills.  The Bishops stayed within reach with kills from Londot, Day, and Fain down the stretch, pulling within 24-19 on the latter, but Skillman followed with a kill to end the set and give the visitors a 2-1 lead.

Wooster raced to a 10-3 lead in the fourth set, with Parker and Skillman contributing 2 kills apiece and Grandi adding a service ace, and the Scots still led, 15-8, on another Grandi ace.  Ohio Wesleyan stormed back by scoring the next 10 points, starting with a kill from freshman libero Danielle Birney (Sylvania/Southview) and adding kills from Londot and Weissenberger, along with a pair of aces by Day.  Wooster countered with a 5-0 burst of its own, with Parker pounding out 3 kills to help the Scots to a 20-18 lead.  Kills by Weissenberger and Fain broke a 21-21 tie, a Londot kill gave the Bishops a 24-22 lead, and Ohio Wesleyan took the set on Grandi's attack error.

The teams traded points in the fifth set until Day's block on Parker gave Ohio Wesleyan a 9-7 lead, and the Bishops soon followed with kills from Weissenberger, Day, and Vickers to take a 12-9 advantage.  Another Weissenberger kill gave the Bishops a 13-11 lead, but Wooster scored the next 4 points, with Parker posting 2 kills and Morgan ending the match with another, to escape with the win.

Fain and Weissenberger led the Ohio Wesleyan offense with 14 kills apiece, while Day followed with 11 kills and Londot added 10.  Vickers dished out 50 assists.  Londot led the Bishop defense with 4 blocks, with Vickers contributing 3 blocks.  Birney finished with a match-high 33 digs.
