Three Bishops Receive All-Academic Cross Country Honors

Ohio Wesleyan University senior Kale Booher (Covington/Newton), senior Sharif Kronemer (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook), and junior Nathan Kafity (Huron/Lake Ridge Academy) received Division III All-Academic Cross Country honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced by the USTFCCCA.

A total of 141 student-athletes representing 80 institutions were honored. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or greater through the most recent semester and placed in the top 35 at the NCAA regional championship meet.

At last fall's NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional meet, Kronemer finished 18th among individuals in a time of 25:38.18, Booher was 19th in 25:41.95, and Kafity was 24th in 25:52.05, with all 3 runners receiving all-region status.
