Ohio Wesleyan University senior Tim Brady (Dublin/Jerome) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-America men’s basketball teams, it was announced today by the NABC.
Brady was a second-team All-America selection. He will play in the Reese's Division III All-Star game on Saturday.
Brady, a wing player, led the North Coast Athletic Conference in scoring with an average of 22.5 points per game. He ranked third in the NCAC in free throw percentage (.798), eighth in steals (1.3/game), and 10th in 3-point field goal percentage (.366). Brady was a first-team All-NCAC selection for the third straight season.
Brady was a first-team all-conference selection and was named NCAC Player of the Year, becoming Ohio Wesleyan's first NCAC Player of the Year selection since the 2003-04 season.
The Battling Bishops finished the season with a 20-8 record. Ohio Wesleyan finished third in the NCAC championship race with an 11-5 record, advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament, and made its first appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament since 2008.
