Box Score Kenyon 10, Ohio Wesleyan 6

Sophomore midfielder Cate Bailey (Hingham, Mass.) contributed a goal and an assist during an early Ohio Wesleyan run, but Kenyon came back to take a North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Bishops on Tuesday at Selby Stadium.

Junior midfielder Molly Curry (Holliston, Mass.) scored just 11 seconds into the game, then Bailey found junior attacker Annie Swanson (McLean, Va./Langley) for a goal before converting a free-position shot for a 3-0 Ohio Wesleyan lead.

Kenyon rallied behind the playmaking of Leah Sack, who assisted a pair of goals 37 seconds apart, then scored at the 20:08 mark to even the game at 3-3.  Monty Sherwood connected on a free-position shot less than a minute later, and the Ladies tacked on scores by Emily Nichols and Abby Westcott less than a minute apart to take a 6-3 lead at the half.

Marissa Henderson, Sack, and Elizabeth Daly added scores for Kenyon during the second half, giving the Ladies a 9-3 edge at the midway point of the period.

Curry ended the Bishop scoring drought with a goal just 16 seconds after Daly's, and freshman midfielder Eilee Foley (Portsmouth, N.H.) and junior midfielder Meredith Wholley (Brentwood, Tenn.) added goals during the closing minutes, but that was as close as Ohio Wesleyan would come.

Curry led the Bishops with 2 goals.

Senior Lauren Figy (Westfield, Mass.) finished with 8 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.

Sack collected 2 goals and 3 assists for Kenyon.  Meredith Bentsen had 10 saves for the Ladies.
