Junior attacker Annie Swanson (McLean, Va./Langley) scored to bring Ohio Wesleyan within 2-1, but Colorado College responded with a 4-0 burst and pulled away during the second half to take a non-conference win over the Bishops on Thursday at Selby Stadium.
Kate Krieger put the Tigers on the scoreboard with a free-position shot less than a minute into the game, and added a goal in the third minute of play for a 2-0 Colorado College lead.
Swanson's goal brought the Bishops within 2-1, but the visitors got scores from Grace Maloney and Virginia Logue midway through the first half, then got consecutive free-position goals from Madeline Pitkin to extend the lead to 6-1.
Swanson ended the Tiger run with a goal at the 3:27 mark of the period, but Colorado College answered with a goal by Madeline Scherer with less than a minute to play, then opened the second half with a pair of goals by Frances Staadt to push the lead to 9-2.
Ohio Wesleyan rallied with goals by sophomore midfielder Cate Bailey (Hingham, Mass.) and Swanson, and the Bishops were still within 11-6 after Bailey's goal midway through the second half, but the Tigers nailed down the win by scoring the last 7 goals of the contest.
Swanson led the Bishops with 3 goals, while Bailey scored twice.
Senior Lauren Figy (Westfield, Mass.) collected 14 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.
Maloney and Pitkin had 3 goals apiece for Colorado College. Abby Fink recorded 7 saves in the Tiger cage.
