Ohio Wesleyan University senior Kale Booher (Covington/Newton) and junior Clare Duffy (Concord/Painesville Riverside) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of April 30, it was announced by the NCAC.

Booher was named Men's Distance Runner of the Week, and Duffy was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Booher broke a school record in representing Ohio Wesleyan at the Gina Relays meet, hosted by Hillsdale College.  He finished ninth in the 3000-meter steeplechase, with his time of 9:08.59 breaking the school record of 9:16.36 he set last year.

Duffy won the North Coast Athletic Conference heptathlon championship at the NCAC combined events meet on Saturday and Sunday.  She compiled 3912 points and turned in the meet's best effort in the 100-meter hurdles, the 200-meter dash, and the javelin.
