Ohio Wesleyan University senior Andy Winters (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) was selected to play in the Reese's Division III All-Star game, it was announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va., prior to the NCAA Division III semifinal contests. The teams are comprised of 2 senior student-athletes from each of the 8 regions in Division III, as selected by a panel of coaches representing each region.
Winters was named Great Lakes District Player of the Year and was a first-team All-Great Lakes District selection by the NABC. He will play for the West squad, to be coached by Albion coach Mike Turner.
