Freshman Aaron Port (Parma/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish during the second day of the Ron Althoff Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday at the George Gauthier Track. The meet was not scored.
Port finished fourth in the decathlon with a score of 5883 points. He had the meet's best efforts in the shot put (40-7) and discus (119-9).
Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Andrew Dos Santos (New York, N.Y./Asheville (N.C.) School), who finished 10th in the shot put with a throw of 41-2¼; and senior Ethan Perry (Cincinnati/Oak Hills), who was 10th in the discus with a throw of 132-3.
