Ohio Wesleyan University senior Colin Short (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) was named to the South roster for the annual Division III North-South game, it was announced today by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

The North-South game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa.

Short, an attacker, was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Year this season.  He led the Bishops and the NCAC in scoring with 61 points this season, scoring 23 goals and adding a league-leading 38 assists.  Short was a first-team all-conference selection for the third consecutive season.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 13-6 overall record. The Battling Bishops finished second in the NCAC championship race, then won the inaugural NCAC tournament, and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament for the 27th time.
