Ohio Wesleyan University junior Spencer Schnell (Dublin/Jerome) and senior Colin Short (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) were named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America teams, it was announced by the USILA.

Schnell, a midfielder, and Short, an attacker, were honorable mention All-America selections.

Schnell led Bishop midfielders and ranked third on the team in scoring with 28 goals and 14 assists for 42 points.  His 28 goals tied for fourth in the NCAC.  Schnell was a second-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection this season.

Short was named the NCAC's Offensive Player of the Year this season.  He led the Bishops and the NCAC in scoring with 61 points this season, scoring 23 goals and adding a league-leading 38 assists.  Short was a first-team all-conference selection for the third consecutive season.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 13-6 overall record. The Battling Bishops finished second in the NCAC championship race, then won the inaugural NCAC tournament, and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament for the 27th time.
