Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Iris Anderson (Elk Grove, Calif./Christian Brothers) was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America volleyball teams, it was announced today by the AVCA.

Anderson, an outside hitter, was an honorable mention All-America selection.  She is Ohio Wesleyan's first All-America selection in volleyball.

Anderson leads the North Coast Athletic Conference in kills with an average of 4.04 per set.  She also ranks 17th in the league in hitting percentage (.224) and is 10th in digs with an average of 3.65 per set.  Anderson was a first-team all-region and All-NCAC selection this season.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 26-6 record, the Bishops' highest win total since 1998.  Ohio Wesleyan went 7-1 in NCAC matches, also the team's best showing since 1998, and finished fourth in the NCAC tournament.
